OTTAWA–An advance estimate points to a retreat in Canadian factory sales in October, led by trade in petroleum and coal products, machinery, and transportation equipment.
An early estimate of sales in the manufacturing sector indicates a sales decline of 2.7% last month, Statistics Canada said Friday.
